This large and dedicated fan base has joined the maple leaf to win more and more
pressure. The team is in a very long drought, when it comes to the Stanley cup
champion. It looks as if it will be when the early nineteen ninties, maple leaf
finally again. Mat Sundin join score king, Doug Gilmore, Dave Andreychuk and
goalkeeper Felix Portefan stars to lead the team to close, but not all the way.
In the early twenty-first Century, a few years ago the team also made several
knockout operation, but is always short.
This led the team not to long
service captain and fan favorite mat Sundin. The team has now decided to focus
on youth movement, the injection of fresh faces and good attitude, strong nose
and full play. Maple leaf now coach by Ron Wilson, one of the most respected
across the NHL coach. Wilson wants to instill discipline and sense of success
again, until now the fan base long painful, over the past few decades years who
dreams of glory. Wilson is a former player leaves, is drafting team played the
last three seasons with the club in 1975.
Recently, the maple leaf hired as
its new chairman and general manager of the club Brian Burke. Burke replaced the
temporary GM, cliff Fletcher, who replaced John Ferguson, maple leaf GM. The

2008-2009 season. Burke walked down the Anaheim Ducks, where he won the Stanley

to this, the main office in Vancouver Burke has been Canucks GM and non
Hodgkin's lymphoma work. These positions before, general manager of the old
Hartford whalers Burke also spent a season, for five years of hockey operations
director Pat Quinn and Canucks. He is also currently GM's men's Hockey Team USA
2010 Winter Olympic Games to be held, where, in Vancouver.
